The EDB has produced the Playtime with Children” Parents’ Action Handbook, and parents are encouraged to use the Handbook to capture the most memorable parent-child playtime in words and photos every month. Requirements for shooting the video clip
| Format: | No limitation, preferably within 15 minutes |
| Shooting equipment: | No limitation, by using mobile phones or other equipment for shooting purpose |
| Uploading method: | Parents must upload the video clip to their personal YouTube account with the visibility set as unlisted, then submit the related link to the activity website |
| Content: | Related to parent-child games, which includes resources preparation, games method, process, reflection, etc. |
| Dates of activities: | The YouTube link has to be submitted to the above activity website before 15th of each month in between January and June 2023. |
| Remarks: | Participants have to provide their consents on the images (including the video clips and photos) and audio to be used by the EDB for promotion and publicity which may be displayed on various media channels, including websites, newspapers, social media, publications, television and radio. |
Besides, the “Call for Action: Sharing of Parent-child Games” will include individual and school award schemes. Schools can encourage their parents to participate in the activity thus facilitating home-school cooperation so as to foster the habit of having regular parent-child play through joining the scheme. Awards calculation methods: Parents’ records of video clips submitted will be calculated once for each quarter (i.e. up to 31 March 2023 and 30 June 2023 respectively), and the foremost 3 KGs and primary schools with the highest number of video clip submission will be separately presented with the gold, silver and bronze awards accordingly. The schools having the highest number of video clips submitted by parents will be presented with the gold award and so on. Awards:
